I almost hesitate to write this review, as I hate to see this somewhat hidden jem become too popular - although it certainly deserves to be so. Outstanding bungalows, impeccable service, Michelin quality meals, beautiful water for activities, etc, etc. We visited March 16-21, 2024. An additional hour flight south of Male, and so close to the equator so you can “see” it (or take a boat to cross it), this resort is a bit off the beaten path but oh so worth the extra effort. Yes, it is worth booking the sunset bungalows. Yes, you will want to snorkel every day (sharks, rays, myriad fish, even a turtle from time to time). Even saw and swam with a 5(!) foot Moray eel as it was hunting one morning! Yes, meals consistently exceeded expectations. But most “yes” of all are the staff (so friendly, engaged, clearly happy to be working there)! Shout out to our butler Yasir who never intruded, yet was always nearby with a gracious “good morning” as we got off the shuttle boat for breakfast or a “good evening” as we strolled to dinner. Even a special anniversary touch involving our tub and bed (but we won’t spoil this surprise for you by sharing too many details!). And a number of wait staff who included an memorable conversation (encouraged by us) with every meal. Mizzy even surprised us by decorating our table on the beach with flowers and lights in the shape of a heart one night! Try to get there in the next year, as the head chef (from Italy of course) and his team are absolutely delivering in quality and style. Can’t think of a thing we’d change. Will we be back? Absolutely!

Everything about this resort is incredible. The privacy is fantastic, it is compared to having the whole island to your self- really only seeing other guests at dinner and the odd couple walking around or sitting at the bar. The beach is incredible with soft white sand that you melt into when you walk on it. The water is crystal clear with amazing visibility. The resort is beautiful, modern, pristine and extremely private. The resort has an incredible dive center with extremely knowledgeable dive masters. I highly recommend their nurse shark dive it was surreal. The water sports center is also amazing as it has an extremely wide range of sports such as fly boarding and wake boarding, with instructors who actually teach you and have fun with you. They are their for their passion to water, not because they are being paid to be there. Every staff member we interacted with was very professional, polite, and caring. The emphasis being caring. We felt respected, valued and constantly cared for. These traits were ingrained within every aspect of our stay. It is clear, this is created from a positive work environment directed the general manager Dennis, to his executive team, then to every employee. Again, repeating myself, ever staff member cares. The food on the resort is amazing with chefs who cater to any need that you might have- they fufflied all of our special requests and made us our favorite special things such as almond croissants every morning. The sushi chef makes the best sushi and Nigiri I have ever had. The entire food and beverage team has passion which is ergo reflected in the quality of what they produce. With each villa comes a butler...our was Yasir. We wish to specially acknowledge him for his passion, empathy, presence, dedication to guest care and his profession. Yasir watched and learned our routine, he anticipated our needs and fulfilled them. He demonstrated repeated acts of kindness and compassion. His influence was so instrumental in us having an outstanding stay. Thank you Yasir. We collasped into your care and you supported and carried us. We are grateful for you.

Had a wonderful week at Raffles, everything was beyond expectations. Thank you to our Butler Liza who anticipated our needs even before we did. The resort is truly magical and thoughtfully designed to make you feel like you are the only person on it. The w right outside our villa was epic. The food was delicious and the wonderful restaurant staff and f&b manager made us feel at home. Our great sommelier was also the best. Looth and shaxuvaan kept the music playing as they drove us to and from our villa on the speed boat. Loved the spa, loved the cocktails by the pool, loved the island adventure and fishing. Will be back soon. Thank you all.

Our honeymoon in Raffles Resort Maldives was way more wonderful than we ever imagined. Our nice butler Koky created romantic environment for us and also she organized amazing plan in order to experience the best moments on the island. Amazing Holidays in Maldives Raffles.There was a grand welcome ceremony on the island. the water villa was upgraded for free, the super king size bad was very comfortable, the pillows were soft, and the room was extremely clean. And my Butler Liza was very thoughtful and helpful during my vacation. She provided us with great assistance. This Maldives Holiday was a great experience in my life.
